The San Francisco Bay Region Network’s Innovation and Strategy Department advances new, practical methodologies that help all three CSU campuses work smarter, deliver better services, and steward public resources responsibly. Led by the Chief Innovation Officer, the department brings together data-informed strategy, cross-campus collaboration, and thoughtful experimentation to modernize operations, improve the student and employee experience, and scale solutions that create lasting value. Its focus is on innovation with purpose, strengthening institutional effectiveness while protecting and maximizing the region’s shared budget.
